The story begins about 40 years ago when the couple Ioannis and Athena Chasiotis descended from Macedonia to Athens to seek their fortune. The road led them to Maroussi, where, initially in a small workshop on Ermou street, they decided to bring to the area the art and passion of roasting nuts. Armed with hard work and with constant values of commitment to quality and respect and love for the world, they managed to establish their name as a synonym of nuts in Maroussi.
In recent years, the Chasiotis family housed its retail store at Ermou Street, 8 , but the expectations of the people and the need for even greater variety showed not to fit in its small dimensions.
A few months ago, the family business turned the page and its relocation to Ermou Str. 7 (just across the street) allowed the dream to come true. Now, the characteristic smells of roasting nuts and handmade delicacies overwhelm the shopping street of Maroussi all day long. The new space is now able to showcase the huge variety of fruits, fruits, cereals, sugar and traditional products, at the same time that travels you with the colors and scents of a sweet nostalgia. The baton has now been passed to the second generation of the family, who, with the guidance and experience of the previous generation, manages to bring tradition and yesterday into perfect harmony with today and tomorrow.
